Swiss Chalet needs to learn a thing or two from St. Hubert. Now, before I go on, a bizarre thing. I have also been to the St. Hubert in Cornwall. It's horrible by comparison. It's key to note that not every St. Hubert appears to be the same quality of food (it seems the level of freshness is the difference).St. Hubert chicken, unlike Swiss Chalet at any other time than peak, isn't dried out and over cooked. It's juicy and moist. There's unlimited coleslaw (a win in my books), great dipping sauce and great deserts.It's no fine dining experience, but they have never professed to be. Enjoyed dining at St Hubert's. Nice ambiance and décor. Wait staff helpful and the menu varied with entrees, sandwich's, salads etc. We enjoyed the BBQ ribs with fries and cole slaw and the pulled pork sandwich with similar sides. Prices are reasonable. My only caution would be not sitting near the children's playroom which was that evening staffed by a clown doing balloons etc. It was a bit loud during dinner.
Expensive + horrible service = dissatisfied I say expensive for chicken full of fat by the time you remove all the fat ... Cause they don't take the time to clean the chicken ... You're left with little to eat !!! Under staff ... Customer service is bad !!! No one speak English ... Yeah take a look at your bill cause the kids meal on Tuesday is 2.95 but still they will charge 5.95 !!!
I tried to speak French but Lina soon realized I was struggling and practiced her English. My husband and I split a pitcher of Bud and he had the quarter chicken with rice and I had the chili lime chicken. We really miss this in Ontario!

loved coleslaw - preferred the oil vinegar over creamy. kids loved desserts - upsidedown pudding caramel cake but chicken was dry and fries a little cool. Baked potato was great. service was fine.
We called ahead for a group of 20 and had no problems. The service was great our waitress was friendly and patient. We were pleased with our food, the restaurant cleanliness and the service.
Like any other St Hubert, the food is good, the place clean, service given by the staff reasonable, although, if you happen to be there when the restaurant is busy, the wait might be long!
Their sauce is amazing and their chicken is tender and not dry. My wife likes their club sandwich. Their ribs are acceptable too

When I come to Montreal, I absolutely have to stop here and I it never fails to make me swoon.
The classic of corse its good there even if the food is nothing special.
