St Joachim Diner and Big Scoop Ice Cream Parlour

This was the second time that we had gone to this establishment. To say the least it has not changed. The first time my wife had onion rings so greasy that there was 1/4 inch of oil in the bottom of the bowl that they served them in. Their specialty burger tasted like meatloaf cut to size on a burger bun.Needless to say we were not impressed. The second that we went was just this past March. We went with another couple and to say the least it was a Total Failure. Not one of our meals was cooked correctly the first time. My family went here this past Tuesday as we have just moved close to here from out of town. My parents had seen that this restaurant was on 'you gotta eat here' and we love going to the restaurants that are featured. Overall the food was really yummy with huge portions, we all got something different and everyone loved the food from burgers, to pulled pork mac n cheese, to a perch dinner. Everything was homemade and delicious. The staff was friendly, and not to mention the drink special was a grapefruit sangria which was super refreshing! We were all very impressed and will be coming back!

Service was good but like others stated, the food was terrible! Chicken strips were awfully and the onion rings were probably the worse I've ever had. Soggy and dripping in oil....not impressed at all. Used to be good but will not be wasting my money there anymore!

Restaurant was recommended. Appears to have gone downhill. Service was fine but the food was terrible. I had meat Loaf but not sure what it was looked terrible and certainly did not taste very good

My husband really loved this place. He had the roast beef meal. We came here because of the show You Gotta Eat Here. I didn't like it as much as my hubby did. We would come back to eat here again.
