St. John's River Grille

Will not ever go back. Stopped in on the way home from Daytona. Hostess seated us outside as requested because the music was so loud inside. The seating outside near the water was nice. Sat for 20 mins with no one approaching our table to even acknowledge we were seated. We had at least 3 different waitresses walk past us and a server. The last waitress walked by us twice and even looked down at our table but continued walking. Needless to say, we made our mind up and just got up and left. After we left we checked the reviews and this seems par for the course for this place. Poor service. It may look like a cool stop off as you cross the bridge but don’t waste your time. Drive on.

Sign on front door said currently understaffed. Was seated promptly, but then ignored by three waitresses for 25+ minutes. They just walked by, never acknowledged we were there, never took a drink order. Table next to me was eventually seated and that couple was waited on right away, when I questioned the waitress, was told not my table , which was the equivalent of too bad, not my problem My wife and I drove an hour to get there so we could enjoy lunch on the river and celebrate a milestone in our lives. Walked out after almost half an hour of being ignored, total waste of time, took my elsewhere and won't be back for a long time.

- aazing! we had lunch on the dach with hank and rust! service was excellent! the peeling and eating garnel were extremely fresh and delicious! my man enjoyed the gator tail and the drinks were on site! we look forward to our next visit! highly recommended!

The food is wonderful the staff ROCK! Had a delightful lunch on a BUSY Saturday afternoon. Despite signs being posted about being understaffed the waitresses and bartenders and all the help managed themselves well! Great job! Will return!

Love the food here! Every time I have gone in great waitresses and waiters. Get your nice and hot and very delicious! I have been here 4 or 5 times and every time has been great!
