Stables - Réservation de table

As I follow a plant based diet there is only so much Thai curry or burger options I can eat, so it was refreshing to see a restaurant make an effort with its plant based options. It isnt cheap at Stables but we thought wed...spoil ourselves. The feel of the restaurant is very cosy and the staff attentive. I chose the sun dried tomato and butter bean pate 8.20) and the Baked Aubergine with veg and spicy couscous 20.40). I was very disappointed with both dishes. The pate was bland, and was dumped on top of a cold crumpet with no finesse. An effort at a quenelle may have shown a bit of thought. Completely overated Expensive restaurant for bland meals 3 out of 4 or the one 1 meal where flavours clashed and were not balanced so sent back . Regretfully , as wasted food is a pet hate of mine . We eat out at...restaurants weekly and I have never felt strongly enough to leave a bad review . The restaurant is stunning !!!! but the owner is rude , when you complain , though I believe his heart is in the right place .... protecting the chef his wife , bless If you are happy for £125 bill for 3 main meals a bottle of wine and tasteless food with stunning surroundings then you will love it Just don't complain as you will be told that everyone else that goes there loves the bland food and tha...

My wife and I booked for my birthday. The reviews were great, but the experience was second to none from the moment we walked in. We were welcomed by really attentive staff who immediately made us feel special. The atmosphere was great and the place...was warm. The food was delightful, with us having the Venison and chicken dishes for mains; and sticky toffee pudding and meringue for desert. The wine went down well too!! It was a nice touch with the owners coming over to chat, but not interfering at all. The whole experience at the Stables was fab. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to others. Well done and merry Christmas all.

Really enjoyed our meal here on a busy Thursday evening during our stay in Penally. Shared starters of Wood Pigeon in prosciutto and a Welsh Delicacy of Cockles including Laver cake, bacon and garlic butter (yum Both selected fish for mains off the daily catch...of the day board. My hake was delicious. All in all a good meal, good service but just maybe slightly erring on the expensive side. Réservez une table maintenant

A lovely little find on a weekend break to Tenby. Both had fish dishes (Lobster Sole)…which were cooked to perfection. The service was great, welcoming , attentive but not over the top..the staff were really friendly . Would definitely recommend if you want somewhere...cosy intimate for a meal out.

exceptional in every sight! a beautiful ambiente to enjoy perfectly cooked and presented eating. the Welsh bark and the hake were fantastic. the personal was beautiful and friendly as the owner. a perfect way to celebrate a special birthday. we are going back

Fabulous little restaurant within the town walls. Wonderful, tasty meals and knowledgeable, friendly staff. We will return on our next Tenby trip
