I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and was left unimpressed, so I don’t plan on returning. They have a hybrid system where you order at the counter, seat yourself, and get your own condiments, while the staff serves the food. While the staff was friendly, they left the front counter unattended for quite a while. The food was decent, but both times I received cold coffee. I ordered the meat lovers omelette, which was just average—nothing to write home about. On a cooler day, I would have expected the front door to be closed, but that wasn’t the case here.
Ok my wife and 3.5 year old came in for breakfast and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, food was great and the atmosphere was very inviting. Breakfast burrito was really good with the salsa provided, wife got the short stack and now she wishes she would’ve gotten the full stack lol. I think what puts this place above others is the staff in particular. I forgot the lovely ladies name that helped us out, but she went above and beyond in my eyes. You can tell the staff actually enjoys being there.
The pancake I got here, filled with banana and soft macadamia nuts, sent me into a state of pure bliss. The coconut syrup was truly divine; creamy, sweet and so tropical. The environment is friendly and down-to-earth; the surfer’s way.
Great menu with a lot of Hawaiian inspired options. Order at the counter, the food is brought to the table. Iced ube latte was delicious. Food came out in 4 separate visits, but the wait wasn't too bad. It's a casual eating spot.

This restaurant will always hold a special place in my family's tradition whenever we visit Dana Point. The food is not only delicious but also authentic.
I had to ask my 7-year-old to leave the table while we were waiting to place our order. I wouldn't recommend this place.
They advertise a Vegan menu online but once there we realized they don 't actually have vegan options at all :
great little breakfast spot, lines can be a bit hetic on weekends, but worth the wait! will be back
