went here about a month ago and had a very weird experience.i went there to support my brother in his pool game for his team me and my girlfriend decided to get some food and drinks. one of the bar lady came up to me, my brother and my girlfriend and asked us for ID she look at all of us 3 times and said okay very suspiciously). so we go on and sit down than a manager very rudely comes up to our booth and says we have verify your id. when we asked why what is the problem, she says i just need to see, as she continues to see she says to me and my brother that we have duplicates and that she needs to see another form. we didn't understand why when should could've just grab our id and scan it....
Terrible experience here I visited here last night with my friend and it was the worst! 1st off he ordered wings and they gave him all drums and then the bartender guy with beard and tattoos) had the nerve to laugh at it like it was funny so not cool. And then on top of it they opened two different tabs for us just bad vibes all over! Do yourself a favor and try a different place I’ll never go back again! Lucky if I don’t hit them with a discrimination lawsuit because as we were leaving they brought at two plates with flats on them and I have video of the entire experience definitely discrimination goin on here!

The only drawback for me is that it is a smoking bar. However, the food is outstanding for a local tavern. I play 8-ball in a local league (Robert Morris) and used to be part of the league at Vernon's Tavern, which was the name of this bar more than 20 years ago. There are about six pool tables here, and I remember that my team won the league title during my time with them. This place has produced some excellent players. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service during my first visit in many years. If they could eliminate smoking, the food and overall experience would be even better.

The atmosphere is amazing, and the food is excellent. However, the owners seem detached from their staff. The bartender is quite unbearable and there's a blonde woman who is extremely unpleasant and frequently stirs up conflict for no apparent reason. I urge the owners or management to address this issue.
Not impressed at all. Feels like a fight waiting to happen and now they are letting Wheels of Soul wear their cuts in the bar!? Beginning of the end for that place. Look elsewhere for a good time.
Very difficult to get a drink, and the locals refused to allow anyone else to play pool.
This is the best spot to play pool, enjoy some drinks, and the food is outstanding.
