Eine interessante Stadt mit historischen und postmodernen Gebäuden.Wunderschön ist die Alte Oper am Opernplatz. Hier beginnt auch die berühmte Fressgass mit zahlreichen Geschäften, Bars, Restaurants und Cafés. Parallel hier verläuft die Goethestrasse mit vielen Einzelhandelsgeschäften wie Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Chanel, Bulgari, Hackett, Michael Kors. Es besteht also eine hervorragende Möglichkeit, sich preiswert produzierte Ware, zu sehr hohen Preisen verkaufen zu lassen. Cafés oder Restaurants gibt's in der Goethestrasse nicht. Auf der Zeil gibt es zahlreiche Geschäfte und viele Filialisten. Ab der Konstabler Wache ist Vorsicht geboten, das Publikum ist "schwierig" hier. Sehr zu empfehlen i...
After strolling around the city, my husband and I stopped here for a drink. We sat down outside, the restaurant was half empty. The waiter came empty handed and asked us what we want, we asked for the drinks menu, he gave us a grumpy look and walked away without saying a word. After 10 minutes he came back, still empty handed, and said that if we 're not going to order food then we will have to leave in 20 minutes! Seriously?! In a half empty restaurant they should be happy that people stop by to order something, maybe we would have also ordered food eventually. But being greeted in this way we just said thank you, got up and went to a different place, thankfully there are enough good places...
Ambiente ist gemütlich, wir saßen in der urigen Kutscherstube. Service und Köche arbeiten zügig, fast schon zu schnell, obwohl es recht übersichtlich besucht war. Dadurch hat man nicht so recht das Gefühl des Verweilens sondern des schnellen Abfertigens. Essen war gut, Salat könnte etwas größer und mit Brot gereicht werden. Vorschlag: Für die Kinder eine bemalbare Kinderkarte mit Stiften oder ein Lolli zum Abschluss würde eine kinderfreundliche Atmosphäre unterstreichen. Fazit: Hier macht man nichts falsch.
Stradt Frankfurt was incredible. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Our server was very friendly and made us feel so welcomed. As American tourists, this type of service is not always the case. The cream of mushroom soup was amazing. My husband had the pork knuckle and he was so happy. The prices are also very reasonable. We saw many locals there and that’s great because it tells you that it’s not a tourist trap. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rudensheim am Rhein, Germany.

Restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area. Service was slow, Cordon Bleu was very dry and bland, Wienerschnitzel was ok. No sign anywhere to suggest cash only so when the bill finally came after waiting for twenty minutes we did not have enough cash and the waiter was rude when we asked where the nearest cash machine was. This is a restaurant catering for tourists so if they insist on cash at least they should make this clear to customers at the entrance. Would not go back or recommend.

Delicious wild mushroom gravy with dumplings! Staff was very sweet to our kids and helped out with some food allergy issues. The covered patio allowed us to enjoy the atmosphere of the pedestrian walkway, even on a rainy afternoon.
Very recommended restaurant in the centre of Rüdesheim. Very friendly service and good food. Reservation is recommended, the restaurant is well visited. We liked the cozy terrace very well. The restaurant is completely recommended.
