"Visited the Stadtcafe twice while in Soltau. Friendly welcome and quick service. The Kasetorte and Philadelphiatorte are delicious but the second of the two comes out on top of the cheesecakes. Lovely selection of fresh cream cakes and coffee. The Latte Macchiato is very nice. The hot food and specials menu looks good too but have not sampled anything other than cake and coffee. Good prices too. the two coffees and cakes came to €10.20, that is less than £8. Highly recommended."

If you look past the slightly old fashioned decoration, this is a great restaurant with good value constantly changing daily specials. Every time we have visited the food has been tasty and appetising. Helpfully the specials are posted on their Facebook page the evening before so you know what to expect.My only gripe would be the soft drinks are small and relatively expensive.They have a mouthwatering array of cakes to tempt you afterwards. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this little cafe, we alway go there when we are in Soltau.
