Wir haben an zwei Abenden (Freitag und Samstagabend) im Restaurant Stadtpalais gegessen, während wir uns im zum Restaurant gehörenden Hotel aufhielten.Das Ambiente hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir wurden nett bedient und umsorgt. Die Speisen und Getränke kamen in angemessener Zeit an den Tisch (wenn man bedenkt, dass am Freitag Abend eine Gesellschaft im Haus war, kann man sogar sagen: kamen sehr zügig).Wir hatten am Freitag Wildgulasch und Schnitzel, am Samstag Brauhaustopf und Fleischspieß Braumeister.Die Speisen waren deftig und lecker, ein bisschen Luft nach oben ist aber noch - deswegen 4 von 5 Sternen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.Ich würde durchaus wieder im Restaurant Stadtpalais...
Das Hotel hat seit Anfang 2014 einen neu gebauten Track. Das Zimmer ist modern und sehr geräumig. Leider fehlt eine Minibar auf dem Zimmer. Die Dusche besitzt einen Variablen Duschkopf und einen fixen Duschkopf "Regenschauer".Im Zimmer ist ein flat screen. Das Bett hat eine gute und feste Matratze. Das Zimmer selber ist mit einem Teppich ausgestattet.Das Frühstücks Buffet ist "übersichtlich" aber dennoch reichhaltig. Es wird immer frisch nachgelegt. Der Biergarten ist nett aufgemacht und bietet jeden Tag ein Special, z. Bsp. Donnerstags Rippchen "all you can eat".Parkplätze sind etwas Mangelware.Insgesamt ein Hotel für Reisende und Geschäftsleute.
This hotel restaurang, deserves some professional chef in the kitchen area. The rooms all have a wonderful interior, so the setting can not be better. But on the plates....not good at all. Almost everything is convenience food, without flavours, taste or even a appealing...looks. Sad really, but it is very hard to find a restaurant in this region, where someone is cooking, and just not open, defrost, in the friteuse unit. The closest is restaurant La Forge in Bad Nenndorf Riepen, about minutes drive away.
A real surprise find, its an old hotel which has a new extension but really well done and tasteful. It has a car park at the rear, nice courtyard with an outside bar where you can also order food. It seems to have regular local...business which gives it a nice atmosphere. The rooms are great, plenty of room, good beds, and a shower to die for. Staff were efficient and very friendly and the breakfast was plenty and fresh. The bread was very fresh. All in all a very enjoyable and positive experience. Réservez une table maintenant
The is part of the Hotel Stadtpalais. They server breakfast but it is your standard German items with an egg bar. The restaurant has two menus, you can mix and match, the first is the classic menu and the second is a seasonal. I had...dinner there two days and all items were properly good and had good seasoning. The duck with leeks and potato pancakes where excellent. Prices are comparable to any other similar restaurant and was filled with both locals and hotel guests.
We returned to this old favourite recently after one year but were quite disappointed. The stylish dining-room is lovely for either lunch or dinner, but the enormous menu does disappoint. Too many dishes, too much re-heating but some dishes such as oyster mushrooms are fresh...and delicious. We were a party of but all the meals arrived at different times and my meal was not hot, others were swamped under large amounts of dressing.
Very nice hotel, centrally located and still very quiet at night. Parlplatz directly at the house. Just a few steps to the pedestrian zone with its beautiful houses and many interesting shops. Very friendly and attentive staff, good restaurant in the historic part of the hotel. Menu wines, service absolutely recommended. We felt comfortable.
