the menu offers a nice selection of several vegan dresses. the food was served quickly and the part was large enough. my salad plate had really smoked a lot tofu so no lack of protein here. the melon discs were unfortunately only shaved strips with still the skin on which worked more than decoration. all in all I found the price of 15,50 euro a bit high. unfortunately they do not offer vegetable milk for coffee. eating was good, but not excellent, but it is great to have vegan food in mettmann! with good weather you can use the large, beautiful terrace and take a walk in the city forest.
I chose the tofu with sweet and homemade from the small vegan menu. the court was sufficient and tasted good. the tomato sauce could have been a bit more, the tofu was plentiful. the service was fast and friendly. a small selection of vegan dresses in an old mettmann restaurant with meat dishes was a pleasant surprise. the restaurant is located in the mettmann city forest and offers a beautiful walk before or after dinner. the four vegan dishes on the menu cost between € 13.50 and € 15.50 the vegan tomatensuppe costs € 6.90
we were invited as guests to a round birthday, with nice weather we had the luck still to sit on the terrace. we can recommend the city forest house in any case, very tasty brunch we could enjoy, friendly and attentive staff. on this day, it has not missed us. we felt very comfortable there and would definitely go back. all have given themselves a lot of effort.
