we always get a friendly and helpful welcome my dog loki is served first with a bowl of water. there is now a much wider selection on the menu l expect that they call it regularly 'pub grub ' the portions are hearty and really good price-performance ratio. I have never been, but they have regular maintenance, within carboots and there is a large space available to rent for various functions. there are many seats outside, including some in the shadow. disabled parking access and rooms for wheelchair users to easily move around. next to a bus stop and near the city center

the owners made our special day perfect. we had lunch in the afternoon and eating was on site. we were a big party and eating all came together and was pissing hot. then in the evening we had our high-time reception and the room was nicely made, eating was a cold buffet and that was for everyone even up to much cake for the children. when we had the room we had paid for the in-house disco, I couldn't blame that the music was a selection of 80's,90's and now. many thanks for a great night x

beautiful and friendly . our 4th or 5th times eat here and although the service can slow to times the meal are fantastic. proper pub grub at an amazing price. golden brown hand cut crispy cloby chips are for good portions to die. everything is just delicious and a good choice. golden oldies menu and children's menu are excellent value for money. well done!

the weather was nice, so we sat outside, there is no beer garden as such and there are busy roads on the side there is a white zaun, but not so high would really benefit from being made higher, apart from being no worse place.

Excellent meal. Freshly cooked. Portions just right. Food lovely and hot. Friendly staff. Will definitely go again.
