excellent as always. our band (sandraiser) loves to play here. we are always well supervised by avril and pete and their employees. the viewers we play here are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. If you never got a band here, please go and look at one. even if we are not haha! Live music spots like stanleys cask are becoming less and more apart. support their local events. if they love live music, then the barrel is a great place to go.

Great pub, great beer and cider. Spoilt by noisy televisions fighting a blaring radio that nobody appeared to be watching or listening to. 12 Jul 22: Much better music. No TV, just a selection of 70s prog playing!

Stanley's is a cozy pub with live bands, and I have been a regular for years. It's always a great night out, especially on Saturdays. Be sure to also check out the entertainment on Fridays and Sundays.
