you have to say a big thank you to landlord paul and his fantastic hard work team that spends so much effort in the last night valentine extravaganza. must have been hours of hard work to offer a great hot and cold buffet: raffle with good trips, decor, karaoke and dance. plus D.J presentation. kudos an Glynis,Pat zak and melody to make it a great night!

the star inn is my favourite. I live in warrington, but I am a Salford-Lad and if I still lived on my old road, the star would be my native, I take the drive to have a pint there, how often I can! I have already said that if they ever doubt the warmth of the people of salford, they visit the star; they will always find it there x

Luv this pub, really do. Great nights in there, can't wait to go in again. It's like cheers, makin your way in the world today takes everything you got, takin a break from all your worries share would help a lot, go in the star then marian, sure will Asaph. Xxxxxxx

good beer. friendly staff and customers. good music. reasonable prices. a recipe for a good night out! so many people come to them and get involved in the conversation makes this a great little pub. wish them every success in their community efforts. Réservez une table maintenant

If there was 'six stars ' I 'd click that. After all, it is one itself! Folk Open Mike last Wednesday was enlightening, educational as well as well played. A reminder of how places used to be.

Great place, with great people. Lots going on, live music, quiz night, ladies darts. A REAL Community feeling. Good choice of beers and good prices. Keep up the good work Paul.
