However, when I left with my drink, I realized they had forgotten the brown sugar. That's when the issues began. When I walked back in, I made eye contact with the barista, who rolled her eyes and said, "oh my god, she’s back." I want to emphasize that I wasn’t rude; I used to be a barista at Starbucks and understand the challenges staff face.
I was then ignored for a few minutes, despite the fact that there were only about three other customers in the store, and I could see the baristas were just standing around.
