I used to work at this café many years ago, and I loved the lively atmosphere. It was great to meet my regular customers, and I enjoyed seeing people on dates, studying, or simply hanging out over a drink. Recently, I returned for the first time since the renovation, and I must say, the change in ambiance is quite disappointing. There are now only about 6 to 10 seats in the entire café, all facing the window, which means the communal tables are gone. The space has been reduced significantly to the point where customers lining up block those sitting across from the window. The modern look they've tried to implement is nothing short of terrible and has completely stripped away the charm that used to make this place so special.Back in my high school days, this Starbucks was our go-to spot to hang out, socialize, and work on school projects together. The renovation is pretty bad.The Starbucks used to have one entry and one exit. You enter on one side, order, grab your items, sit (large area with plenty of space), or leave.Now the process is squeeze in to the end (next to people sitting at the bar like table near the window), loop around, order, walk back and wait with all the people waiting for the washroom.What Dumbo thought that this process was a good idea? Must have never visited the location prior to making the Floorplan.There is no space to sit inside, really.Staff are quick and nice. Beverages were made well.
I had an excellent experience at this café! The caffe latte was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They recommended some new products that were definitely worth trying. In the end, we bought a mug as a keepsake. We loved our visit, and I truly appreciate the wonderful staff! Réservez une table maintenant
Atmosphere was okay but I do agree with the comments.. barely any space to sit. It’s so crowded with barely any space for lines etc. drink tasted fine but didn’t appreciate the judgement from the barista when ordering my drink. Don’t know why adding oat milk to a cold brew is a big deal…
