The café has four tables along the wall, each with four chairs, but unfortunately, each table was occupied by a person surrounded by their books, bags, and devices, making it awkward to find a place to sit just to enjoy a drink. We had no choice but to sit at the long communal table, which only had six chairs scattered around. I placed the mobile order when I realized the Lake Waukegan location was temporarily closed. It probably took me 4-5 minutes to get to the Willow Waukegan location. When I got to the window, I was chastised for not placing my order well in advance. I told the girl I was driving down Waukegan from the other location as I place the order her retaught was that the sticker takes a while to process from my phone to the machine in their store so I need to give them an extra five minutes. What’s the difference between me placing on the mobile order five minutes away from the store versus placing the order while I’m in the drive-through. Help me understand. I recently picked up a mobile order there and the barista noticed it was made incorrectly (I had no idea). I told her that it was fine and that I’d take it anyway since I wasn’t aware of that. Thanks for being honest and letting me know, but I didn’t notice at all. I appreciate her honesty and realize that she must have so many people complain about their drinks! I loved my drink mistake or no mistake!
I had the worst experience with customer service at a Starbucks. I've visited many locations, but the attitude of the two staff members here was extremely unprofessional and detrimental to the company's bottom line. What a disappointment!
