My experience was quite disappointing. The location wasn't clean, and the baristas appeared inexperienced and poorly trained. Since this store is a licensed location rather than a corporate Starbucks, Target manages the Starbucks brand within its premises and employs the same average-quality staff they use for their own operations. This is particularly frustrating, especially considering the space has recently been renovated; one would expect Target to invest in proper training from a professional Starbucks team for their small kiosk.
What a horrible place. Bought a large coffee and a pastry and then went to sit down but there were no chairs in the room?? This is taking social distancing to an absurd extremity. Even though I had taken a bite of the pastry and a sip of the coffee how wasI to walk around the target with that in my hand? The clerk behind the counter told me I had to eat it outside! It was snowing!I returned the items for a full refund and will never, ever return. Target should terminate the lease immediately if not sooner.Disgusting disgusting.
I arrived at 10:43 AM, only to discover that the restaurant was closed. It was disappointing to make the trip for nothing. While I've experienced slow service here before, this instance was particularly frustrating. There aren't any other coffee shops in the area, so this place is my only option for a quick coffee and snack. If they can't ensure a reliable staff, I’m not sure what would motivate me to come back.
I'm really disappointed with my experience. I ordered three drinks, and I'm usually patient about wait times. First, they informed me they were out of lemonade. Then, when I finally received my drinks, they were all made incorrectly. When I brought this up, the staff member seemed annoyed. After I received my drinks, I said thank you, but the employee was quite rude and didn’t respond at all.

I find this Starbucks to be quite disappointing. The staff would really benefit from more training in customer service, as they come across as rude and loud, and don't seem well-suited for a retail setting. I guess they must be hiring anyone they can find.
I waited for five minutes, and none of the three staff members came to assist me. When I finally expressed my concerns, one of them reacted with arrogance.
The staff at the Stamford, CT location in Target at 5:40 PM were extremely rude. I would prefer to forfeit my money from a gift card than return there.
I wanted to purchase more than one cup, but a staff member informed me that I couldn't. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to spend my money! Lol!
