I had a disappointing experience at the Starbucks located in Star Market. These were the worst cake pops I’ve ever had. The staff member there struggled to scan my Starbucks app, which meant I couldn't collect my rewards points. She mentioned that the scanner wasn’t working, but I suspect she didn’t know how to use it because I’ve never encountered this problem anywhere else. I was hoping to enjoy a tasty treat, but since the cake pops looked questionable, I decided not to order them. I ended up just getting a refreshing drink, but it was sweeter than I expected.
This review pertains to the purported Starbucks at the Chestnut Hill Star Market. For a more enjoyable experience, I recommend heading to the Wegmans plaza instead. The Starbucks in this location is staffed by indifferent employees who do not provide the level of care and service one would expect. Overall, the service and final products are disappointing compared to other Starbucks locations.
The barist Chip is the worst employee ever , i wanted to order two drinks, and he wasn't patient and he was just shaking his head. I was looking at the app to scan my qr code for rewards and he immediately refused to do so with an attitude. He shouldn't be working if he treats customers like an attitude
Starbucks serves the best double chocolate Frappuccinos, and the service here is excellent. The team is always attentive and efficient. Great job, and thank you!
