How very very rude!!! Called in today as I have on many occasions since this store opened. Overlooking the fact that the place stinks when you walk through the doors closest to car park I decided to join queue. As usual the queue was rather long but the server who took my order was lovely and very friendly. However, I realised quite quickly that I had left something off my order. My fault I know but I asked guy doing coffees if I could just grab what I needed and pay. Not a ****** chance on this earth. Guy was so so rude, unnecessarily so in my opinion. Absolutely disappointed with the service. The restaurant ran out of soya so I politely asked the service if on this occasion could they use something else as non dairy substitute. Normally, the almond, coconut or oat milk cost extra 40p but I had no other option but to chose one of them to have a coffee with. The lady manager showed an attitude when I asked if this could be free, on this occasion as it was not my fault that the cafe couldn 't serve free soya. She replied 'It is what it is, I am sorry, you can 't have it for free '. I was gutted because I spent 15 min in the queue and had to pay more for my order than anticipated.Not very good customer service.
I called in for 2 x coffee my chocolate plant cake. Although I miss the bannana plant cake this one is also nice. The lady on the till is outstanding, so friendly polite. Also I always have an iced water with my coffee, it may have been the manager a gentelemen that reccognised me. He had an iced water prepared in advanced without me asking for it. The service is outstanding. We prefer the size of the converted pub in chesterfeild as my son is autistic prefers large spaces. However they are quite abrupt rude at that store, this pulls us back to giltbrook as the majority of the staff are outstanding, it doesn't go unoticed thankyou so much.
Went to collect drinks for kids. 2 meter stickers in the floor for distance between customers, ok, but, the que route reverses on itself, like in the airport passport control, so the 2 meter gap becomes just a few Cms, an so defeats the object of maintaining space. Added to that a couple of Cov idiots not wearing masks and not being chanllenged by the staff, who by the way were all very good and observing the rules. This is a management problem, not a staff issue. They need to put a bit more thought into their planning. Réservez une table maintenant
Always seems filthy in there have been in on three occasions and have failed to be served twice, there are staff there but really not sure what they do, the toilet is usually out of order and the tables are filthy as well as the floor, I am surprised the company aren’t aware of this, I won’t be returning
