After ordering from Stash's many times, it is now a problem. I ordered a steak tip dinner and asked for two cold sides. They rudely insisted that I had to order one hot side and one cold side. I calmly explained that due to medical issues and dietaryrestrictions, I could not eat any of the items on the hot side menu. They, again, refused to listen to me about my medical needsand were adamant that it is their policy to ONLY serve two side dishes that were from both the hot and cold menu. Hot mess. I ordered food last night, the woman said it will take 40 minutes. I learned that?s her favorite time frame. The food never came! I called twice morning. The first time the young man was really nice about trying his best to resolve the problembut was unable to, so he politely asked me to call back in 20 minutes because he stated he didn?t even see an order from mynumber last night. I called back the lying ???? woman answered and said the driver was calling me and ringing the bell forguess how long 40 minutes. Straight b.s. There isn?t a bell smh. no one ever called. The steak tip platter was absolute top notch for a takeout place. I am not saying that it was magical like Emeril Lagasse made it, but it was so neighborhood-joint perfect... and I mean ABSOLUTELY perfect for a takeout place. I am eating it while writingthis and I want to stress the perfection part. And as a bonus, the French fries are classic fries... not those hideous pressedcrumb flavor things. AND after eating a bunch of fries, I found some tasty cole slaw under a layer of wax paper. Bonus! Fordecades, I have been a Checkmate Cafe guy..... tonight that changes.
I have been an ardent ordered of Bel Ave and always enjoyed good food, prompt service, etc. Unfortunately my last order which was for two steak, pepper, onion and cheese calzones, large chicken wing and French fries was a vast disappointment. The calzones were flat and very greasy, chicken and fries were also very greasy. We were very disappointed especially after paying $65. I don’t know if there was a different cook that day or what but I am all set. Will not be ordering again.

This is my wife and I 's go to for takeout. The team there is very friendly, the food is good, and the place is immaculately clean. We have only had one minor mistake with our order (keeping in mind we 've ordered from here quite a lot) and theycorrected it immediately. Cant reccommend highly enough.
My cousin who?s from there took my family and me there and I?m glad she did. The subs was fully loaded and packed with meat. Also like the fact it had a sanitizer score A! I?ll be coming back the next time I?m visiting from NC
My husband ordered an Alfredo pasta but the pasta only came with chicken and cheese and lacked the Alfredo sauce, which was a disappointment, very bad service and, apart from the very high price and small
