My friends and I go here a lot for appetizers and drinks. They have a good gluten free menu. The waitresses and waiters are all super attentive. I've only ran into one waitress that seemed annoyed double checking that the cooks remembered to use gf soy sauce. I always get the tuna tartar, it's an easy dish to tell if it's been cooked properly. If it is accidentally deep fried (which it only has been 1 out of a billion times), then I know not to eat it and request another one. Unfortunately with the soy sauce dip you can't tell from the look or smell- you'd definitely know after eating it but the servers are 99% of the time great at double checking. There are many great gluten-free options at this restaurant. You can order more than just a salad and feel confident about the safety of your meal. They have an online menu where you can filter for "gluten-friendly" options, and they will also provide this menu in-house if you ask for it. The regular menu does not indicate which items are gluten-free, but the servers are very understanding and attentive. They will involve the kitchen manager to ensure that your food is handled properly. Each dish has an extensive allergy chart that the kitchen follows, and my dish always comes out separately from the others at my table to prevent cross-contact.
Great dinner experience at State and Main Aurora on September 11th. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a good experience and that the food was good. For instance, my friend's burger was redone the way he...liked it well done with no issues. It was taken care of right away with a great attitude. The staff Eric the GM is friendly and approachable and Jessica goes above and beyond to make sure the dining experience is excellent. unhonest restaurant, overload us on 27 september at $37.08 no “Bill” has ever been produced by the server, only handed over the payment machine to us and we have added 20% to top, yes the sweat was certainly on us. I have reached twice for a declaration, and. no answer. for all future mozens I recommend to them to receive their bill from this facility. a Cobb salad is $19, a “Epire Steak” is $35. a pint of guinness and a gin tonic does not cost $37.08 there are still many restaurants in the city that offer customers “billions”. One of the rare restaurants that is open later than nine pm. The clientele was sparse but this was to our advantage . We ordered the steaks . Mine was the Empire which hit the spot just a smudged to much salt) . It...was a sirloin served with a Cesar on the side and a cream of tomato soup with cheddar on top. Everything was made to perfection . The server , a young lady made our meals that much more enjoyable . She was an absolute delight. We are going back , as there’s no reason not too.
we've ordered ourselves by Epp-Essen. the $15 mac and cheese dish had a long brown hair in it. absolutely disgusting. to this day no refund of over eats. I called state and head, and they refused to pay back the money. uber eat...not respond to the request for reimbursement. will never be ordered again by state and at first. only coarse food treatment practices. many other restaurants in my opposite place where I. order and not get dirty meal
We supported our local restaurants with takeout during the COVID19 restraints. State was our go-to as our food is always excellent and the staff always pleasant. With the patio open now, it’s our go-to for great food. Favourites, Bang-Bang shrimp, Pacific Rim Bowl, Main Burger,...Fish and Chips, Jalapeno Mac Cheese, Strawberry Champagne Cheesecake for dessert, always! The staff are always friendly.
