I absolutely love this place! The service is excellent, with a no-nonsense attitude. You can enjoy everything from a quiet dinner in a side room to a lively evening at the bar. When it comes to drinks, they offer everything from pints under $4 (which is hard to find in Boston) to inventive cocktails. The Nashville hot chicken is amazing—just be cautious, as it’s very spicy. I haven't ordered anything that I didn't enjoy. My only complaint is the 20% service surcharge for the back of house staff. While it's well advertised and doesn't bother me too much, I personally dislike this business model (I would prefer if they simply raised the menu prices instead).
The restaurant has the ambiance of a dive bar, but its menu is far from ordinary pub fare. We enjoyed the Chanterelle mushroom quesadilla, creamy ranchero dip, smoked wings, and a shrimp Po' boy sandwich, all of which were absolutely delicious! They also have a fantastic selection of cocktails and beers. Our server, Jess F, was wonderful. Despite it being a busy Sunday night with preparations for live music, she remained friendly, attentive, and efficient. We will definitely return to explore more of the menu and soak in the atmosphere.
Absolutely outstanding! The atmosphere is relaxed and trendy, and the staff is wonderful. Most importantly, the food is top-notch. My wife and I kicked things off with the short ribs and fried chicken garlic knots, both of which were delicious. We also savored some excellent coffee and decadent carrot cake for dessert. The draft beer selection was impressive, and the live band that night truly enhanced the experience. We will definitely come back and recommend this spot to anyone visiting Boston!
We've visited this place twice—once for their bodega brunch and once just for drinks and fries. It's a fantastic little spot that has a dive bar atmosphere, offering tasty food and drinks. The beers are inexpensive, and the margaritas are quite good. I highly recommend the breakfast tacos from the bodega brunch; they're flavorful and satisfying. Réservez une table maintenant
I organized a private brunch for 20 guests, and Kristi and the State Park team made the entire process a breeze! They were incredibly accommodating and communicative, and the service and food on the day of the event were outstanding. I highly recommend this venue if you're seeking to host a gathering in a unique and eclectic bar!
