From the beginning as we entered the place the service was pleasant and polite. The menu is perfectly matched, not too much on the menu but especially high quality in low quantity on the menu. We had dinner in Bülows the other night ad overall had a pleasant experience. We ordered steak and shrimp and the US Rumpsteak with the recommended pairing plus some garlic bread. We tried Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon to drink. Plus: nice service, very polite and eager to make it a good experience very good meat quality, although I prefer a US cut over the thinner German cut. wide open wine selection. The steaks were delicious; very delicate and tasty; the meat came from Argentina. The cook knew exactly how to grill her: I needed my good. This is often a problem and I get meat that is hard and dry. Not here. We asked if he could slender it (to cut two), what he did and the result was great. The meat comes with vegetables and crispy potato roast. For dessert the cream brulee was exceptional. We drank the Argentine red wine Malbec, which goes so well with steaks.
Crowded place, therefore loud. But so many visitors can't be wrong. Very good meat (we had chicken breast, beef fillet and Rumpstak(NY Strip) plus sides). Waiters sometimes not too attentive, basically very friendly. Red wine far too warm. Recommended.

Fish (cable) dish was good. The potato soup and shrimp were also ok. The service could be better - the ordered bottle of water never came, but at least it was not charged. All right, but nothing back.
I had lunch at the restaurants and the food was very well prepared and very tasty. The restaurant is located in the family-run Polar Stern Hotel and is just a personal one like the hotel. Recommended.
