First time there. Treated a friend, who was visiting from another state, for his birthday. First, the atmosphere was surprisingly bright and open, not what I’d expected for a high-end steak place. More of a “diner” feel than a steakhouse. We had reservations and were seated promptly on arrival. Service was good, informative, and attentive. We started with appetizers, shrimp cocktail and “grilled simply pure sweets sourdough” (which was nothing more than a small loaf of sliced sourdough…something usually complimentary at most steakhouses). When we received the menus, I was taken aback by the prices. A 16 oz. split bone ribeye was priced at $65. Despite the cost, I ordered it, confident it would be both filling and delicious, while my partner opted for the salmon at $32. Beer prices were around the local average, about $7 or $8 a bottle. After being seated, the hostess left, and our server promptly arrived with a fancy glass bottle of water, filling the glasses that were already on our table. We kicked things off with an old fashioned each and shared the ham dip and sourdough appetizers. Let me tell you, that ham dip with the flatbread was DIVINE! It was like a warm, delicious deconstructed cheese ball—who wouldn’t love that? I didn't even need to try the sourdough to know it’s fantastic, especially since it comes from Simply Pure Sweets! I try to limit my barley intake, so I skipped the sourdough this time. Instead, I enjoyed a house salad before my main course (I just really love salad, haha), and it was delightful! As a starter, we enjoyed the Truffle Fries, which were fantastic. For my main course, I had the center cut filet topped with bacon marmalade butter, accompanied by Brussels sprouts. My husband opted for the bone-in pork chop served with bourbon Dijon crème and squash casserole. Everything was absolutely delicious, and my medium-rare filet was cooked to perfection! For dessert, we shared the dark chocolate crème brûlée; my husband is a fan of crème brûlée, and I adore dark chocolate! Our server, Brian, was exceptional and very attentive to our needs. The food was out of this world—easily the best meal we've ever eaten! Our tomato and crab appetizer was exceptional; my husband remarked that the tomato tasted so fresh it felt like it had just been picked before it was served. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the sauces were absolutely divine. And the chocolate crème brûlée? Just incredible! When they learned it was our anniversary, they surprised us with a champagne toast, making the evening even more special. We can't wait to return, and you should definitely give it a try—your taste buds will thank you!
It was overall a good experience. The service was slow though as it took over 10 minutes for a server to greet us and take our drink order. The food was solid. The lamb was not cooked to my specifications, but it was seasoned well and delicious. The mashed potatoes were the highlight. Smooth, creamy, and lots of garlic. The drinks were awesome too. The margarita was strong, yet flavorful with a delicate balance of traditioal flavors. Definitely going back. The decor was very nice and it had an upscale atmosphere.
We’ve made Steakhouse Five our go-to spot for date nights, and we always request Jason as our server. He is fantastic—attentive and truly one of the best servers at the restaurant. He consistently enhances our dining experience with outstanding customer service! If you’re new to Steakhouse Five, I highly recommend trying it out. The food is delicious, especially the pork chop! And be sure to ask for Jason!
Jason was our server and was so friendly, attentive and hospitable. It was our first time ever having Wagyu (which was PHENOMENAL) and Jason even took the time to talk to us about the kind of cut it was, where they get it, etc. We will definitely be back here. Réservez une table maintenant
