We went to Steamworks because of the beer on our first day in Vancouver. We got there about 3:30 and sat enjoying a beautiful day. We were going to go somewhere else for an early dinner, but seeing the food that the waiters were serving to other customers around us, we decided to stay and eat at Steamworks. We ordered pizza and it was thin, crisp and really tasty. The fish and chips are also highly recommended.Our server was very attentive and very accommodating when my friend and I asked to taste two of the wines before we ordered them since we were unfamiliar with BC wines.
even though we are not beer drinkers we ate here - they make a nice mixed drink also,the food was delicious and nice size portions - wait until you see the apple pie dessert - tremendous! we were seated in a very busy area but the ambiance was great and we were happy to not have to wait - there was a free concert by the philharmonic symphony nearby. our waitress was great, helpful, never rushed us and made very good recommendations . great location
We came here after a Vancouver brewery tour on a Saturday evening around 7. It's such a huge place that we were able to get a seat for 4 right away down the stairs around the corner in the wine room. We got poutine which was awesome, some beer (one of which was not quite the wheat beer we were looking for), and an appetizer of ahi. They have souveneir glassware and shirts, and two of us got shirts. We would totally come here again.
Lovely place we noticed whilst walking past. The pub and restaurant itself is very big! There is outside and inside seating available.Good range of choices available on the menu. Prices are good! Service was good despite it being very busy. Staff friendly and helpful with drink and food choices.Meals were brilliant, portions big and food tasty and fresh. Would recommend and happily visit again!

This place is huge so don't give up if there is a line outside - there's plenty of seating inside. Beer selection is great, featuring local and guest breweries and the food choice is excellent. Downstairs there are pool tables and screens to watch sports and the atmosphere, although it may get a little noise, is very nice. Thumbs up !
We picked this as a low key restaurant in gas town with a plan to go to the lookout after. Location was great, just by the lookout, and food was really good. 2 of us had the burger, one the Tuna salad, and one the steak. All food was good (steak a little over cooked for "rare"), and the recommended beer was good.
Excellent service! The food was tasty & good portion size for the money. I asked for iced tea that was unsweetened & didn't expect her to custom make it for me. Very impressive!
Varied but not superlative beer selection. Accommodating to food requests. Fairly typical pub food. Special on menu was unavailable although early dinner hour. Service friendly.

We hired this place out for a private function. The food was good as was the service. Most days when I walked past it the place was rammed.
Location is great and its really busy, the food and service was average my wife could not eat her chicken wings
