Steiner - Réserver une table

This location in Steiner Rapperswil has a walkable counter and a high table with high stools on the window, while the opposite side of the place offers a table service and a complete menu of items. I scanned over the many mouthwater desserts, pastries, cookies,... breads and sandwiches and chose me for a slice of cake (4.30CHF) that I paid at the switch, then took a place in the much larger and full service side of the café and also ordered a hot tea (4CHF) that was served with a fresh cookie. The cake was quite interesting as it was layered with fruit in the middle and even more on the top. It reminded me of a fruit cocktail mix in this moist and delicious piece of cake. this is a traditional bakery that also offers breakfast and lunch. whereas as a bakery, it is a highly advisable palce, as restaurant it's just average. for breakfast (they do not offer anyting different than what other backerei cafeteria serve you in rapperswil) steiner is...in line with swiss preferences: pastries, good coffee and juices, but don't ask for fried or scrambled eggs (and this is one the things you'll miss in rapperswil and won't find here). as a lunch restaurant, they offer standard menu of the day and other easy-making dishes. service is polite and prices are average.

Always a good coffee, friendly service and beautiful cakes. I've never eaten here, but if we're always gonna stop in Rapperswil. The staff is friendly, not all speak English, but this is good that you are here in Switzerland. Always busy with people with lunch...and homemade sandwiches

Visit here for breakfast 21. October 2018. It was very busy this morning because on this day in Rapperswil there was a "Fun run". Basic Swiss baked goods for breakfast. Breads and baked goods with coffee and juices. Fresh, but nothing special.

Nice ambiente and good patries. The location is good But maybe it is a bit too commercial for my taste . It is Not only a pastry shop But as u can dine at a reasonable price. Id rrather prefer a simple pastry shop.But this...only my opinioni

Good for a quick meal for a very reasonable price. They have some great salads and "fitness dishes". Try the "Hot Grill Salad". Quite cheap lunch meals. Not the romantic ambiente but good for lunch. Also quite cheap breakfast menus.
