I decided to take my family to this restaurant for Valentine's Day after hearing rave reviews about their shrimp. We had a reservation, but unfortunately, we still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Our waiter arrived promptly, which gave me hope that the wait would be worthwhile. He took our drink orders and returned shortly to take our appetizer orders. However, after about 20 minutes, only 2 out of the 3 appetizers arrived. He then brought out our salads (thankfully, we ordered those), but we had to wait another hour for our main courses to be served. If you're looking to boost your profits by cramming more tables and chairs into your dining area, please consider adding more waitstaff and, most importantly, more cooks and stoves to your kitchen. We waited an hour and a half for our meal, which arrived only lukewarm at best. The restaurant was so crowded that I felt like I was sitting in the lap of the woman at the nearby table. The waitstaff struggled to navigate through the cramped space, which made the experience far from romantic or intimate for a special dinner with my spouse. Looking around, I could see the same disappointed expressions on the faces of other diners.
We went for VA Beach Restaurant Week. We had never been, and didn 't know it was a nice restaurant; the servers and service were reminiscent of Morton 's (The Steakhouse). We ordered off the Restaurant Week menu (not sure if the dishes are part of their regular menu). Everything was delicious. The service was outstanding. The only complaint I have is that their tables are a bit too close to each other; if the lady at the table next to ours had turned her chair around, she would have been able to eat off of our table.
