Stella's Table - Réserver une table

Haven’t been to The Root since it has been under the new ownership but it did not disappoint. Went for brunch and everyone in our party was happy with their food and beverage choices. Apple cider mimosas were good but the cocktails were excellent! Glad to see that the new management has stayed true to your roots (see what I did there...? . We will be back! P. S. Love the community table—that tree trunk base!!

My husband and I decided to sit in the bar area for dinner. After 20 mins we had no service. I asked the bartender and said we should have a waitress and he would get her. After that the service was mediocre. My husband wanted the fish special and they ran out 10 mins after the waitress told us about it. When the food did come it was delicious.

Wonderfully inventive cuisine and the staff is very accommodating to special requests. Also a very dog friendly patio. Whenever we're in the area we stop by with our therapy dogs for lunch, brunch or dinner. And the patio is spacious so we're not intruding on the other guests and fenced in so we don't have to worry about passer bys.

We have LOVED this restaurant since it opened. We have never had a bad experience. This time the food was just okay, which was a complete surprise. I’m bummed and hoping it was a fluke.

Menu is very limited. Waitress was great but service from bar and kitchen was very slow. Food was at best middle of the road.
