I'm glad I came here after picking up my rental car in Caen. Both the food and the service were excellent! I recommend you check this place! The price was very fair for what you get. I paid $29 for my lunch menu with 3 courses. Really can't go wrong with it sure! On the 3 course they gave us an additional 1 tiny appetite suppressant at the beginning and 1 tiny dessert at the end when you set the bill. Also this restaurant has a 1 Michelin Star review and definitely very well deserved Star! It's a must go to the restaurant when you're in Caen!
First of all, the staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining the different types of tasting menu. We chose the Incognito Tasting Menu which was interesting. Quality of ingredients and flavor were great. It fell a bit flat on the crab meat dish, but everything else was fantastic. Interior feels a bit dated and might need a little bit of refreshing. Over-all, a wonderful experience.
Everything's perfect. Great atmosphere and service. Top kitchens. Amazing medaillon de lotte au Curry and magret de canard before menu savings (50 Euro). The menu changes every day. The desserts are above expectations. Very reasonable prices. Thank you to the cook.
