The ratings were mostly very good, so I decided to give a try to the Stephan-Stuben.I was expecting the normal good german restaurant with his traditional interieur and a tasty and boring boring local food offer.Location is not from the best, but the exercise is located in a renovated traditional house.Entering, I was immediately taken in custody by a nice, young, smiling waitress.Being early, only another couple in the restaurant.First surprise: the ambient was very cared, clean, with a feeling of cared elegance I didn't experience in Germany before. Was more like being again in the '80s in Milan by Gualtiero Marchesi or in Sorrento by Don Alfonso...Menu very cared but with a limited offer....
after a long delay due to the move, I finally came back to the stephans. we were a small company and various menus were ordered. the appropriate wine-begleitung was served at the surprise menu. it was always like before: a dream! feed, weine and service perfect. great greeting from the kitchen in front. ambiente cozy, Mediterranean. Price/performance really excellent. Conclusion: always a top address in ulm/ Neu-Ulm!
at the beginning they can read large tones. within the year we want to be one of the best 100 in Germany and now hardly among the first 1000. a Michael star always in inaccessible faraway. big talk, baby. nothing has been delivered. we had a lobster cuccino: 1 cm broth in whiskyglas and above it: foam 6 cm: that is probably called foam.
Update: Light View in Corona Times. Super delicious three courses menus to go. We like to come back. Siegfried Pfnür is a top cook that creates very tasty dishes. Pleasant ambience with very friendly and attentive service. The gourmet menu was particularly recommended. Really worth a visit, we like to come back. Réservez une table maintenant
I was there several times and always it's a pleasure. I haven't try dishes as good as here. Kabeljau with mustard was outstanding and the entebrust was top too. At the end, we requested an assortment dessert dish to share and it was súper. Excelent and very carefully service. 100% I will be back there
A great restaurant and only recommended! The food is excellent, always fresh and you always experience something new. In addition, the service team is always attentive, friendly and helpful. It also shines with expertise. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Ulm/Neu-Ulm!!
