Had a really nice time. Matthias was busy in the kitchen so Bettina kept the wine glasses full as well as presenting us with excellent 3 course meal. Spoke both English and German to accommodate me and my friend. The price for Michelin quality food is exactly correct the wine list is varied and interesting. Highlight probably was the outstanding Saffron Brioche starter with tartare and herb foam. But the meat and vegetables were cooked for the main courses PERFECTLY and the quality of all the ingredients was befitting of the Michelin star. Delighted to shake hands with chef Matthias at the end of the night. Definitely a restaurant worth a Michelin star.
What a surprise! In the middle of nowwhere this gem of a restaurant! We went there as a party of four for my fiftieth birthday and had dinner in the Badstube. The food is of outstanding quality, worth every Gault Millau point and more! I had the Luma veal and have never tasted such tender and tasty veal before. The waitress seemed a bit stressed out and could have smiled more: no reason to be stressed out with such excellent food AND service! I will go there again for special occasions. A place of a certain understatement with excellent quality of food and service.
I eat here quite often. It's a traditional Swiss restaurant, with a modern twist. It has all the staple dishes, but with care and attention to preparation. Service is always good. There are always a couple of vegetarian options. The outside seating is fabulous in summer. There are 2 restaurants, one has a Michelin star, the other is just a reasonably priced alternative. Worth a visit.
Had a good dinner there and the prices were reasonable. Ordered the sausage salad as appetiser but got charged the main course price. Portion was big but didn’t expect to get charged the full price as obviously we ordered main course. The game dishes were ok and the rehpfeffer a bit dry. Overall a good experience and will go back on my next visit.
The Badstube, which has been awarded a Michelin star, is absolutely convincing in terms of price/performance ratio. Nice ambience. Big thanks to the kitchen. Service is charming and familiar, not necessarily upscale. But I don't see that as a disadvantage in this atmosphere. Thank you!
