Sthomstuebel - Réserver une table

Staying in Alsace for the first time we wanted to try out the local fare. We chanced this one and luckily we had our son with us who speaks German as we do not speak French well or German at all. Not a lot of people in this area speak English! The place is not fancy but it is clean and the people are very nice indeed. The food was excellent. I took the challenge of being surprised by the Thom Baguette which was interesting and very tasty. Our son had a dish of duck, smoked salmon and pate which looked like fine dining of the highest order. My wife 's dish of chicken and veal in a creamy sauce contained in a pastry 'crown ' also was well enjoyed. Well satisfied!

Restaurant très accueillant avec une bonne cuisine, j’y mange souvent le midi et leur plat du jour est top et plus particulièrement aujourd’hui l’escalope de poulet panée était excellente et vraiment très tendre. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant.

Avec mon conjoint nous y sommes allés par hasard car nos restaurants habituels étaient en congés mais honnêtement nous y retournerons

We were warmly welcomed. Lovely menu. Nice dishes, served in a pleasant way, so the eye enjoyed it as well.
