One of my friends' opinion was that the service was rubbish and the staff had no manners. My view: Smokies Grill is an okay place to eat, however staff seemed to prioritise the online orders over the eat in orders when preparing and serving the food. This was also the opinion of other people coming in and joining the queue behind us who seemed to be regulars. For my friends and I, it was our first time eating there and we were left quite disappointed. The food was good when it finally arrived, but we were told there was a backlog of orders that needed to be cleared before new orders could be taken and so we all ended up eating at different times. One of my friends was just receiving her food...
I had food delivered from here once and it was lovely and I mean really nice and fresh for a good price but then they went and done it! I chose to order tonight there again tonight as I work late and had to do overtime, placed my order at 10pm and all accepted and booked for there last delivery time slot they offered, get home and wait foe my meal to then get a cancellation message sent at there closing time. Too late to order elsewhere and now nothing to eat after a very long and busy day at work. I have had this from Mc Donald's, OMG desserts and Pepe's all of which I now refuse to order from, I can deal with late, early or something slightly wrong with my order but when I order 2 hours ah...
Ordered this by phone, was told to be there in 10 minutes or it will be cold, Was there in 10 minutes,it wasn't ready numerous delivery drivers were passing, From different delivery companies, I ordered through the company's phone line.. to be pushed to the back of the que.. 1 HOUR of standing there waiting for some chips to be cooked is ridiculous!!? I get they dont cook the chips until your there but blimey, worse customer service Never use this company out of principle
Very bad service. Was waiting literally for 75 mins just for a chicken. When asked the staff the pretend to know nothing about the order. And asked to wait for 10 mins and it was still another 25 mins. Not even any did apologise for the delay. Also food safety has been overlooked, I doubt the brushes used to paste the sauces are even food Safe as they look like normal bristle brushes. Réservez une table maintenant
The guy at the till is an absolute moron, he is rude and has no sense of customer service. It’s such a shame as this place has a lot of potential. The guys in the kitchen are amazing they are doing their best. But this fool really has let the whole place down. Food is decent as-well. I really hope the owners see’s this. The idiot was working today (23/06/24) was there around 9.
I have to say the food from here is truly amazing! I spent £10 and had the peri perri box 2. I had a grilled chicken burger (it does get messy but it’s so worth it) and it was so tender juicy, the flavour was hot along with my chicken wings. I had a mild sauce to dip my fries into and I could not fault the taste and quality of this food. Well done to the chief
Shop looks a lot better then the other around. Ask them for fillet flame burger which they advertise out there window, but they don’t offer them in this branch staff said. Disappointed should be removed form the menu. Got 5 star food and hygiene rating form the local council. Food was fresh and service was good.
