We went after the new ownership sign went up, and this place is obviously banking off of distant past reviews. The food was awful. Cutting in the fish and chips spilled grease onto the plate, and the fries smelled of very old oil. The 3 entrees tasted like canned food and prepackaged, cheap breading. The server forgot and appetizer, which we were quick to cancel after we tasted the entrees, and the check took 30 minutes. Find anywhere else in this town to eat. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
The Stonehouse is our favorite restaurant! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is sensational and the service is prompt and always so friendly! We highly recommend! Thank you for being here in Montrose!

Excellent and friendly service, I wanted chocolate milk with my meal, even though it isn't on the menu, our waitress happily made some specially for me.
One of the BEST restaurants we've been to! Great food, beautiful and warm atmosphere, and fast, courteous service.
