I recently had the pleasure to visit the Stoneworks Bar in Peterborough, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. I could chat with the bartender and they could recommend the perfect drink for me based on my preferences. I was particularly impressed by the variety of available handicraft drinks. From craft beer to wine, spirits the stone works have everything. And the fact that they are trying to get the best from all over the world is really remarkable. I tried a few different drinks and I was blown away from quality and taste. I can't wait to go back and try something new. The atmosphere of the bar was also fantastic. It had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. And did I mention Shuffle...
One of the few craft beer bars in town (all kegged beers here, which doesn't bother me), but inferior to the much friendlier Bumble Inn, which is only 5 minutes away. You can order 2/3's of pints, not real pints, of the stronger beers, which to me is a rip-off. Décor is basic, but okay, but the atmosphere just isn't there. Less friendly crowd, too. I visited only once, then found out about The Bumble Inn. Service: 3
This restaurant is definitely worth visiting any time you need a place to unwind during the day or evening. They offer a great selection of beers and ciders. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to assist and provide recommendations from the diverse drink menu. The average cost per person is between £1 and £10. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive top ratings of 5.
Nice little place to spend a few hours and very nice staff who are happy to recommend d drinks from among the offerings. A little on the pricy side for my liking considering they sell in small doses which is fine if yoy enjoy this kind of pub, but each to their own!
