Any pub that specialises in board games is bound to be a bit geeky, but the decor of the entire place goes far and beyond that – the decor is garish and trashy. We'd heard a lot about the Storm Crow Alehouse from friends and decided to give it a try on a Saturday early evening. The parking isn't easy but just download the app and it's pretty self explanatory, otherwise it's right on public transit. We walked in and asked for seating for 7. They sat the two of us down and we didn't have to wait as they just put two tables together. Our friends joined us shortly and then it got super busy around 6:30-7 pm. Based of the original Storm Crow Tavern in town, the alehouse is bigger with a better selection of games and apparently better food. Their specials were constantly delightful and the games abundant. The food, also, was very good with many options to suit many dietary restrictions, including gluten free and vegan. Just be prepared to wait on a busy night, as they don't take reservations, but you can put your name down and head somewhere down the street for a drink while you wait, and it is well worth the wait. And when you get there, be sure to roll a D20 for a mystery shot!
Come early for a spot at this popular board game pub and you should be fine. Wait time for drinks and food can be a bit long once they start getting busy,and it gets loud, but the atmosphere is always buzzing and they have a good selection of games. You're fully immersed in a fantasy world from the decor to the actual menu items. It's a novelty pub and it's worth checking out if you're looking for something out of the ordinary.

This spot is a gamer's dream - between pinball machines, videos, great décor and a whole wall of board games, if you're bored, you have a problem. The food is amazing too - lives up to the clever descriptions from start to finish.
Fun place to have a decent brew and watch the folks at the other tables play all sorts of board games and such. Service is friendly and efficient too. Next time I'll have to try the food.
Staff was friendly and on the ball. Definitely some of the better bar food I've had as well. I love the decorations and menus and will be coming back at the next opportunity!
Cool place to see the deco on the walls. Lots of movie stuff. There is board games too to keep you entertained. Beer and Food is good. Although missing a Ruben sandwich. Lol
