Stovell's - Réservation de table

The service and wecome was warm and pleasant.. The ambience and open fire qas welcoming. The cocktail was nice. The starters were good. The mains were really disappointing. The chateaubriand was poor@ we have had better from Cote at home. The veg was dire, lettice with a butter topping the chips were no better than Mccain. Despite feedback the full bill was paid inc a service charge of £47 for 3 people. I will not be going back. Overpriced. Local pubs have the same seevice and much better food. London House was 10 times better. Very disappointed

Carlos was the only reason we didn’t walk out. We entered with no welcome stood at the bar for 10/15 min advised to sit at our table as staff was low (which was fine) were served 20 min after sitting down (just water) although we weren’t in a rush this was a bit of a joke. Overall I won’t put the restaurant down as current climate everyone is trying but I won’t rush back.

This was Stovells' first lunch after a long break. The menu did not reflect what was available: no venison, no fresh fish. This made the choice very restricted. We chose the chateaubriand which was tough and over-priced. We should have stuck with the roast beef, since we would not have had to pay extra for the vegetables. The starter was good; the dessert was okay-ish.

What a lovely evening! I booked Stovells for my husband’s 40th and from start to finish the service, food, drinks and atmosphere was wonderful. We were given advice on our food and wine choices and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We will be back! Thank you for such an incredible evening and experience. : Réservez une table maintenant

was a beautiful environment, the staff was very attentive and friendly. we had the taste of mexikos, who was also very good. it was a good experience and something completely different from the Mexican food I had tried before. I'd like to come back.

Arrived for lunch, attentive but discreet service. The lobster tails to start were excellent followed by beef which was well sourced for flavour and cooked as requested. Other option chosen was rabbit which apparently was delicious.

We did the tasting menu and this was excellent! The service was also amazing, though the whole meal took over 3 hours and we wish we had asked them to speed it up a little sooner which they happily accommodated.

great service, but they didn't know what was a kir, nor could they make one. pralins with the coffee would be well service and eat appreciated, although Réservez une table maintenant

with menu descriptions confiscated against what came out on the teller. butter solid, large sourded, room cold as the red wine.
