Stowupland Fish And Chips

I was in the area only because I was buying a car nearby and stopped here for lunch. It was such a lucky find. The team are friendly and knowledgeable and advised that their haddock was excellent. I don't normally go for haddock but tried it on their recommendation. The battered haddock was delicious. It was made to order, fresh and hot. The crispy batter was so light and not at all greasy. The fish was so fresh and sweet. Pricing for the fish is by weight. My large piece of haddock was under £7 and amazing value. The chips were good value and hot and tasty. My friend enjoyed their cheese and onion fried pancake. This is a real gem of a fish and chip shop. Please give it the custom it deserv...

The service at this restaurant was very disappointing. I pre-ordered my food, but it was not ready when I arrived. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the service was lacking and it seems like it's not as good as it used to be.

Absolutely superb fish n chips ! Fish wrapped separately from chips so didn’t go soggy ! Fantastic crispy batter on gorgeous fresh fish !! Chips are next level !! Simply superb

Reliable quality ,amazing batter and great chips.The curry sauce is one of the best ever .Cash only great local chipshop never use others as they are never as good

I go once a week. There are fish and chip shops closer but Stowupland is top quality. The owners are very friendly and polite.
