Fast ganz an der Spitze der Bodenseehalbinsel Mettnau liegt malerisch das Strandcafe mit wunderschönem Blick auf die Höri. Fast ist es einem, als sässe man auf einem Schiff, so überwältigend ist der maritime Charakter! Als ich vergangenes Jahr zur Kur auf der Mettnau war, habe ich mit Gästen öfteren das Strandcafe besucht. Zu jeder Tageszeit sitzt man hier berauschend schön, besonders zur blauen Stunde . Hier offeriert das Lokal eine Reihe von Cocktails, übrigens auch sehr gute antialkoholische. Gegessen habe ich zuletzt frische Pfifferlinge mit Pasta (etwas über 15 Euro), meine Begleiterin einen Salat mit Fischknusperle, das sind lecker panierte Fischteile, meist Felchen oder Zander.
