Strathmore Bagel Of Mount Sinai

Not even close to the same quality that I used to get at the old Strathmore Bagels in East Setauket AND to make things worse, they have a sticker that is slang for “Fu You” and often used in bigoted contexts, on their window right above the door handle. Based on other reviews about the owners bad attitude and refusing to correct unacceptable orders, this is not surprising. It’s a certain personality type that puts up such a sticker saying “FU” to every customer who enters the store.I will never go back there again. And I won’t be missing much. The bagels are not the same as the old Strathmore bagels. The bagels, at this location at least, are more like rolls.

We ordered three egg sandwiches, and they were the worst I've ever had. There was hardly an egg on a stale, hard roll, and the sausage was cold and unappetizing. There was also no pepper. I strongly advise you to stay away from this place. Even my dog, who eats anything, wouldn't touch it. When I called to complain, they offered a refund but suggested I let them make the same disgusting sandwich again. Why would I want to give them another chance when they failed so miserably the first time?

It's not too difficult to hire a cleaning crew these days. While the bagels are quite good, the overall cleanliness of the place leaves much to be desired. I'll never understand the glove policy—if you're not changing to fresh gloves between customers, what’s the point? Given the state of the dining area and the bathroom, I can only imagine how unsanitary the kitchen must be.

I used to love Strathmore bagels and would always get them whenever I was in town, but they aren’t the same anymore. They must have changed the recipe. The everything bagels no longer contain salt, which means they don't really have that "everything" flavor anymore. Réservez une table maintenant

This is my new go-to place. It's so clean, the staff is so accommodating, and the choices are perfect. I tried the avocado toast today and I'm in love! Reasonable prices compared to other places also. You should go see for yourself and support their business.

We only visit this restaurant when we choose to use TooGoodToGo. So far, we've had some nice surprise bags, but the parking area and exit can be quite risky.

I called to ask about the menu, and the staff member seemed unfamiliar with it. They also got my order wrong. Overall, the place is not very impressive.

Picked up a dozen bagels at the end of the day. Bagels were still fresh and service was good
