Me and my girlfriend went to this place for hiking and the awesome view. After the long day we had lunch in this Alp? restaurant.I had some german beer and something called Sennen Rosti which was pretty tasty and good. My girlfriend ordered some salad which she said was nice too. Also i wanna mention our Waiter. I think his name was Thomas, some guy with a beard. He helped us to understand what kind of food they have and which we should try. Very helpful and super funny guy. Also very patient with us. Thank you very much and if you read this come visit us in Australia someday.!!In total i can recommend it. The food and drinks were delicious. Hope to see this place again.Thanks for a nice tim...
The restaurant is reached by following a short climb up from the top of the Schatzalp funicular. Food was all freshly cooked, tasty and hot. The rosti my husband had was very good and my parents shared a very large salad! Just be aware that the restaurant does shut in bad weather (e.g. heavy rain in summer) if no-one is about so if in doubt give them a call first. Also not open in the evenings for dinner so go at lunchtime. We wanted to go back on the last day of our holiday but they were closed (understandable given the weather!). Not cheap - but then nowhere in Davos is cheap and it was better value than the restaurants in the town and with a great view too!
The views from this place are unbelievable. I was disappointed that it was closed after hiking to it. However, I was able to enjoy the view and imagine what it would have been to dine there. Worth the hike just for the views. Too bad it was closed, I would have enjoyed a nice wine overlooking the mountains! Make sure to check season schedule before going.
Alter Kunde ist gestern Samstag, 5. August 2017 mit neun teilweise etwas schwierigeren Gästen hervorragend bedient worden. Service-Mann Thomas ist stets echt freundlich und zuvorkommend geblieben. Und hat sich obendrein auch um das Wohl von Hündin Zitta gekümmert. Danke, lieber Thomas!

Man muss es wirklich sagen. Bester Rösti den ich jemals gegessen habe. Sehr sehr lecker!! Auch für servicemann Thomas ein großes Lob. So freundlich wurde ich lange nicht mehr bedient. Danke. Ich komme gerne wieder :)
Hot day and after a very hot hike, sanctuary. Food good varied menu. Drinks ok too. Staff busy and how shall I say? Just want to serve but not see you. But a good place to eat
