I recently dined at Strings 2 Ramen in Chicago, and it was a true treat for my taste buds! From the moment I entered, the cozy ambiance and friendly staff made me feel right at home. However, it was the delicious flavors and meticulous attention to detail that truly stole the show. One of the standout dishes I have to rave about is their Hell Sauce. As a spice lover, I’m always searching for something that ignites my taste buds, and this sauce did not disappoint! With the perfect balance of heat and flavor, it gave my ramen a tantalizing kick that elevated the dish to a whole new level. If you enjoy spicy food, you absolutely must try this fiery creation! Now, let’s highlight the star of t...

I have been to this Stringz location several times over the past few years, and unfortunately, it seems to be declining with each visit. The food is tasty, but the overall environment has really gone downhill. The wooden seating areas are quite dirty, and the bathroom situation is concerning. There are signs instructing patrons not to flush anything from usual feminine products to toilet paper, which is frustrating. Instead, there's an open bin next to the toilet for disposing of soiled toilet paper. It honestly reminded me of a small town in Mexico, and not in a good way. Additionally, the kitchen, which is visible through large windows, is in need of some serious upkeep; it would be wise...

Solid ramen spot if you're in the area! I found the broth flavorful and noodles to be just the right amount of chew and thickness. However, I wouldn't say it's anything super spectacular or out of the ordinary. Overall, it is well priced for what you get. Service is also quite quick, which makes sense since they're usually quite busy during dinner time and want to turnover as many tables as possible. If you're planning on coming during lunch or dinner time, I'd highly recommend putting your name on the list early, as it can take awhile to get seated.

It was too warm for ramen so I got the vegetable gyoza and spicy cat rice which were just as delicious and filling. The sashimi bowl was actually spicy too, not too much but you could definitely taste it. The vegetable gyoza were actually a delightful surprise, i could have had bowls of that alone. Highly recommend that! The staff were friendly and efficient and although the restaurant isn't that big, the ambiance is nice and cozy. Definitely try stopping by if you're in chinatown! We got Tonkotsu Ramen Premium (large white bowl, left corner), 2 Tonkotsu Ramen with Kuro Buta (one with pork belly other with pork loin), Kuro Buta Yakisoba (Pork).Food was great! Lots of flavor and that pork loin melts in your mouth! Would definitely come again. Service was also great! We did come right when it opened so we were the first ones there and it did get busy pretty quickly. The place is kinda small so I can see there being wait times if all seats are taken.

This is my go to Ramen spot. The ramen here just hits the spot. I love their Tonkotsu Ramen. Their broth is full of Umami flavor. The servers are super attentive. You wont wait longer than 15 min for your food to be served. Also, for those who haven't been to this location just know the place is small. Perfect for a group of 4 or smaller.

Level 2 Hell Ramen is indeed spicy, though not overly so. I enjoy a bit of heat, but next time I'll opt for the tonkotsu instead. The Hell Ramen feels spicy just for the sake of being spicy. The portion sizes are generous, and the cozy atmosphere truly embraces the essence of a ramen shop.

Great Ramen joint worthy of competing with other Chicago places! I got the Tsukemen, which I believe is not their specialty, but quite good by American standards of ramen shops. Price was also great. I’d like to visit again and get their classic ramen to see if it’s worthy of being a 5/5 Réservez une table maintenant

Just went here for lunch and I love their ramen so much. Hell ramen level 1 is still too spicy for me but I ate it all because the taste was so great. You will get a huge pitcher of water for free as well
