I came here about ten years ago when my family happened to be in the area, and I do not remember much of the meal, but I do remember loving the place. Two things that stuck out to me at the time was the atmosphere and the ice cream. The garden theme of the restaurant is so creative and comforting, and the ice cream was super creamy. I have wanted to come back here for so long, so to celebrate my birthday my mom and I came here. We did not have a reservation, as we were not sure what time we would be arriving. We had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated on a Friday afternoon, so I highly recommend making a reservation. However, waiting for the table was no trouble, since we just explored the store attached to the restaurant. We could have spent hours in there! Once we were seated we were given water in mason jars, which I absolutely love, and their complimentary flower pot bread. The butter that comes with the bread is always a different flavor, and ours was vanilla lavender. Despite the hype around the flower pot bread, that was probably the least exciting part of the meal, but still not bad. Having trouble deciding what to order, our server helped us choose the Terrain Burger. We both ordered it and it was definitely a great choice! The burger tasted fresh and the balsamic onion jam was an amazing touch. My mom also order the Arugula Pear Salad. She said it was the best salad she's ever had and loved how all the flavors complimented each other. Finally, we ordered the Chocolate Terrarium for dessert and our server even put a candle alongside the dessert. This dessert is definitely a must try! The dark chocolate cake is not too sweet and the matcha crunch is so creative and delicious! I highly recommend Terrain Cafe to anyone looking for a good meal with a relaxing ambiance. I cannot wait to come back!
