When entering, the decor is very vibrant and on point for the genre. The service was a little so-so at first but there was enough Knowledge of english from their end and the utility of my Spanglish to get the point across. A fried wonton was served to nosh on and turned out to be one of the best unexpected starters we have had In awhile. This left us satisfied but we were a little disappointed in how long it took for what we ordered to come back to the table. The previous sentiment was immediately forgotten once the sushi got to the table. The rolls were perfectly prepared and the ingredients fresh. Some of the best sushi we’ve had in ages (we had a spicy tuna, crunchy kani, tempura salmon)....

Two cases of diarrhoea what caused it? Very distressfully, we are both suffering from bad stomachs after tonight's visit to Kanasawa. The evening started oddly, we were shown to a table and then moved a minute or two later to an almost identical other table. But we didn't mind, even though we had booked and both were tables for two. I tried some of my Japanese phrases but they didn't land. Soon discovered why, the staff was not Japanese. My fault for not recognising their heritage. Anyway, it does not matter where they're from, just the service they provide. The service was poor. No charm, no attention, no care.
