I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. The woman at the counter was quite rude and outright refused to make me a salad, insisting it was no longer available on the menu. When I kindly pointed out that she might be mistaken, her response was harsh: “If you don’t like it, get out of my store!” I wish I could give zero stars if the app allowed it. Honestly, whatever management is paying her is too much. To top it all off, she didn’t even wash her hands.
I try not to be too picky, but nowadays the cashier shouldn’t be using the same gloves to make sandwiches, handle the cash register, and open doors. One time I visited, there was a fly crawling around the cookie display case. On another occasion, a young woman made my sandwich very messy—she had mayo and mustard all over her gloves and then touched my sandwich, leaving a mess on the outside of the bread. I quietly left the line and went to McDonald’s next door instead.
They only had white bread and flatbread available when I visited. I ordered the tuna, which had an unpleasant aftertaste. My wife had the toasted turkey. The biggest problem was the bread crumbling as we ate, creating a mess in the car. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience at Subway.
