I visited this restaurant yesterday (Saturday) and again today for a late lunch. They have some excellent vegan and vegetarian options. The place is remarkably clean and well-stocked, especially considering the busy weekend atmosphere. It has a relatively new appearance, so I asked how long the current owners had been running it, and the gentleman told me it’s been seven years. It seems much newer, as if it has been recently renovated. The man at the counter was very friendly and helpful, guiding me to delicious choices on both occasions. Every time I visit Subway, I order the same sandwich, so I know when they shortchange me on the meat. On my recent footlong tuna sandwich, they only gave me four tiny scoops of tuna. It literally tasted more like a vegetable sandwich with tuna-flavored mayo because the portion was so skimpy. I didn’t want to argue, considering the managers had obvious language barriers and were very busy. From now on, I’ll choose a different Subway location before heading to the beach to avoid paying $8 for what feels like just bread and spinach. The menu at this Subway definitely falls short when it comes to portion sizes.

The restaurant was spotless, and the family operating it was exceptionally polite and efficient. I've had my share of disappointing sandwiches from other Subways in the past, but what we had today was fresh and flavorful. From now on, we will definitely make it a priority to stop at this particular Subway as our go-to lunch stop whenever we head to the beach.
I fully support giving job opportunities to foreigners, which is great, but the staff here struggle with English. They were friendly, but ordering took longer because I had to explain my requests multiple times, and my order still ended up incorrect. If it weren't for a younger employee who stepped in to help, it would have taken even longer. It's disappointing that there isn't a better understanding of English in a customer service role. I think the hiring manager should reevaluate their approach.

I asked for extra vegetables, but the staff ignored me and just moved on. There was an Indian family working—mom, dad, and son—which isn’t a bad thing, but they refused to give me the extra vegetables I requested. The son had a big attitude. This was the only Subway available at the time, but I will never return. Don’t waste your time or money here.

I don't recommend visiting in the morning. They open at 9, but it honestly feels like they should start serving customers at 7. It's incredibly frustrating. If I could, I would give them less than one star.
