Their vegetables are sad and so not fresh. It is very frustrating when you are there and more people are behind you in line and the sandwich builder starts to build your sandwich...cuts open the bread and lays a base of meat and cheese and then just lets it sit there as the sandwich builder goes to the next person in line. Then when they have like 3 or 4 sandwiches built with meat and cheese, then they get to finishing ALL sandwiches with veggies at the same time. I have things to do and don't have time to wait for sandwiches to be built for people who showed up AFTER I did. After entering the store, we found no patrons present and no attendee. Moments later I saw someone in the back. My wife coughed to get their attention. Nothing. Finally, I hollered out Excuse Me Out came a lady, never once looking up or acknowledging our...presence in any way. No apology for not being there when we arrived, that's for sure. I was very pleasantly surprised by how friendly and chatty the staff was at this location. Even though I arrived just minutes before closing time, they went out of their way to provide an excellent sub and in no way rushed me. We even had...a pleasant conversation about my RV rig which I had parked right in front of the store. I would definitely visit again on my next stop in Creston!
Two employees working did not want to make pulled pork but eventually did. Next customer behind me wanted seafood and they told him they didn’t have it ready yet, eventually made his too. This subway is across from my office so I have ate there ALOT! Franchises are a little harder to review because in general they are all the same (or at least I think that is the idea!). These guys do a really good job though. Fast friendly service, and the place is always spotless.
