I ordered a no.2 (Outlaw), and the employee began putting white american cheese on it instead of the pepper jack. I caught it and she was able to easily fix it. It was only her second day, so she gets a pass, right? However, as I was walking out, and this was at 11:30 a.m., the garbage can near the door was not clean. Also, one of the veteran employees should have washed her hands while taking out the freshly baked bread. She was wearing oven mitts, and stopped to do something in the back before returning to the front. Before she put the mitts back on, she scratched her ear and just wiped it on her pants. She didn't touch the bread with her bare hands. I just thought it looked bad to resume...
They have gotten worse and worse over the years. Last time I placed an order and went to pick it up they claimed that the order was never placed even though I had an email confirmation. No offer to discount or even apology. And today they literally gave us half of our food..what was supposed to be footlong were 6 in. So when my husband gets home with it and I ask where the rest of it is..I call there and again have to prove they are the ones that messed up and the only compensation was our next two six inches free. $40 for 3 six in subs..we won't be going back
I visited this restaurant after a heavy rain and was impressed by how immaculately clean it was. The staff, particularly the girls, showed a genuine care for the place. The sandwiches were delicious and the girls took the time to chat with customers. Overall, the service was excellent. I had a great dine-in lunch experience.
I have traveled across the USA and tried many Subway restaurants, but the one in Vernon, Alabama is truly a breath of fresh air. The bread is soft and not burnt, the vegetables are fresh, and the meat is top quality. This is by far the best Subway I have ever eaten at. God bless them.

I highly recommend trying the Grilled Chicken dish at this restaurant for lunch. Prices range from $10 to $20 per person for a takeout meal. The food and service are both excellent, and the atmosphere is great for a casual dining experience.
I travel the USA, I have eaten at many subways, But this subway in vernon Alabama is so refreshing. From the bread soft not burnt , To the vegetables fresh the meat ? The best subway I have eaten. God bless them ?
