I wasn’t super impressed with the service, it was rather slow, or how it wasn’t clear what was vegan. Having to ask was complicated by the volume of the music right by the counter. The fries portion was huge but cold. It’s a fast food place so nowhere special to sit. Almost everything they use to serve food is disposable with no recycling. But the boa was nice. I would go back but for takeaway and adjusted expectations.
Lots of vegan options. I had bao buns. You get two in a portion. I had a tofu one with hot toppings and a jackfruit one with BBQ toppings. Both so delicious I could have eaten it all over again. Hubby's salad and chips were yum too. Other vegan options include salad, rice and a walnut filling. Seems to be BYO too. Located beside blend and batch on the Lisburn road where we were actually headed
Had a takeaway. All vegan options clearly labeled. All bases are vegan. I oredered tofu bao buns with extra tofu, asian slaw and small kimchi. Tofu was slightly bland but buns itself with the filling very tasty. Once mixed with kimchi and slaw very nice. Helpful and friendly staff and reasonable prices. Great quick meal.
we've never tried anything like bao buns, so we've had it with tofu and haven't regretted it. it was delicious and a kind of exotic. but be aware if they do not like coriander because some dishes contain them. Réservez une table maintenant
This is a pretty unique concept as far as I’ve seen across the UK/Ireland. Fresh, tasty and doesn’t feel like you’re eating fast food. The tofu is always crispy and the katsu fries are definitely a highlight.
I spent a few days in Belfast for a course and ate here twice because I enjoyed it so much. Really flavoursome bao fillings and customisable combinations of fillings and sauces etc.
choice of rice or bao with many vegan components together almost too hard to get haha! I have the food contract that came with a crazy amount of chips. no bad thing
baobun is great. the personal is worth knowing about the ingredients. I love the choices and especially taste. beautiful atmosphere in a very small environment. Réservez une table maintenant
the tofu in the bao is really tasty, and you get to choose what veggies go in it!! lots more options than baos though.
