Subway Sandwiches Salads

I visited the Subway in Butler, MO, on Tuesday, September 13th, after not having been there for quite some time. I was uncertain about their new approach of preparing subs their way, as I prefer to customize my own. I ordered the Mexicali sub and was able to make a few changes—I swapped lettuce for spinach and added green peppers and extra onions. I have to admit that my sub turned out quite good, but I wouldn't feel the same if I hadn't been able to customize it. While I still prefer the way Subway used to allow customers to build their subs, my experience worked out well for my first visit in over a year. The food earned a solid 4 out of 5; the Cold Cut Combo Sandwich was particularly delicious. The service was also commendable, receiving another 4 out of 5 for its efficiency. While the atmosphere scored a 3, as it was more functional than inviting, I would still recommend checking this place out, especially for a quick bite.

The sandwich artist was definitely still training but she was pleasant. The manager was super cool and knowledgeable and made sure she knew what to do. The new subs they have are pretty solid as well. But, oh my lord the prices are out of control. That's obviously not the staff's fault though. Overall verdict is that it's good but pricy. "The service at this Subway is incredibly slow, the slowest I've ever experienced at any location. I went there for dinner, and the price per person was between $10 and $20. As for the ratings, I'd give the food a 3, but the service and atmosphere both deserve a 1."

The lettuce is often wilted and brown. It made my stomach feel really upset after I finished eating.
